After a nasty fall on the ice this winter, I needed rotator cuff surgery. I had complete trust in my doctor, but felt completely as ease with going through with the surgery because I knew I would be going to Ergo Physical Therapy for my recovery. Not only is the owner (Ron Kassab) the most intelligent man I have had the pleasure of knowing, but his sincere and genuine care and concern for his patients comes through on the first meeting and every meeting thereafter. The office staff is very friendly. Whenever I call, I am always greeted with a bubbly upbeat voice. My daughter had major knee surgery and of course I took her to Ergo. We had a problem getting a referral because our pediatrician wasn't familiar with our new plan. No worries, Ergo's staff took charge and made the calls needed and my daughter is now back on the softball field :)) Another thing that impressed me about Ergo was the way they come up with fun ways for kids to do their therapy. I will never forget walking in and seeing a kid playing a wii game. After watching, I realized that this was his therapy, and I thought to myself....how clever is this guy!!! All in all I gave Ergo a 5 star rating because they deserve it. I recommend them to all my friends, family, co-workers, and even strangers!

When I was told that I needed major surgery

When I was told that I needed major surgery on my shoulder, my biggest concern was how my body would respond post-operatively. I was fully committed to my rehab, but could not have recovered with such great success without the help of Ron Kassab and the team at Ergo Physical Therapy. Ron is a true professional who not only has a great wealth of knowledge and experience, but listens closely to his patients to be sure he is addressing the ever-changing status of their condition. Ron has created a comfortable and safe environment for people who are at their most vulnerable...thanks to Ron I am back to 100% and owe him and his staff a great deal of gratitude.

I have been seeing the therapists at Ergo for several years and I think they're great. I have an incurable neurological disorder causing weakness, gait disorder and balance problems. My goal has always been to stay strong, continue walking and not fall. Their methods are innovative and individualized including stretching, strength training and balance exercises. With the help of the therapists and aides at Ergo, I am in better shape than I ever could have hoped to be.

Their staffs are really friendly and professional. I had a backache for long and got referred to Ergo Physical Therapy last year. I have been getting treatment from these guys for the past few months, and my aches are gone now. I would totally recommend this place!

I first went to Ergo after arthroscopic shoulder surgery

I first went to Ergo after arthroscopic shoulder surgery. I had previously tried PT at two other offices in forest hills who were very poor. When I arrived at Ergo I was treated very well. The receptionist was very kind and warm. My initial evaluation said I should have started PT earlier. Marta my therapist said it would take a lot of work to get back my full range of motion. The two months I spent in pt were difficult but Marta and the rest of the staff encouraged me to push through. In the end I regained my range of motion and was extremely happy with the results. I would recommend Ergo pt to anyone.

The most challenging experience for me as physical therapy

I was reluctant to continue on with physical therapy after my experience at a rehab PT Facility in College Point. I eventually met with DPT Luis Escobar at Ergo Physical Therapy in Forest Hills, owned and operated by DPT Ron Kassab, recommended through NYU Langone. This would be the most challenging experience for me as physical therapy is both physically and mentally enduring. I started on 04/03/14 and I'm still a patient there. I suffered a badly broken leg this winter (gone) and endured more than 6 hours of surgery with a lot of hardware in my leg. After my first day at Ergo, I realized that this was the RIGHT place for me as, I felt very welcomed. The staff smiled with you. It was very comforting as the fear of tripping, falling and unable to walk properly diminished. Working one on one with Luis Escobar as well as and his other colleagues Ron and Chris; made it very easy. The demonstration of professionalism, the effective treatment, job knowledge and patience have been contributing factors in my very rapid progress and recovery. They simply care for you! What I admire as well is the work ethics and family atmosphere of the staff, the spaciousness of the facilities, and the freedom to work at your own pace. (With guidance off course). You are never pushed. As of this day I have progressed considerably from the use of crutches to a cane (when necessary). I most certainly will recommend Ergo Therapy to anyone, anytime. It is not about money but your healing process, the special care given, speedy recovery and the overall satisfaction you feel, when you leave their facilities.

I have been a client of Ergo ever since it opened

I have been a client of Ergo ever since it opened, having been a patient of its owner, Ron previously. Due to my active life style I have had occasion for its physical therapists to work have on my neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, back, and knees. They helped me avoid surgery for a separated shoulder and most recently helped me rehab fully from surgery on the other shoulder. (Not every ailment can be fixed with PT; I did need a few shots for my tennis elbow.) The office staff is friendly and helpful. When, for a period of time, Ergo was not in my medical insurance network, it worked out an arrangement with me that saved me a significant amount of money. Ron is very careful about who he hires as a physical therapist, and I have been pleased with all of those who have treated me over the years. Hands on treatment is emphasized; they don't just put you through a series of exercises. I only wish there was a bit more space; at peak times it can get crowded. However, that has not prevented the therapist from giving me the personal attention I expect. I highly recommend Ergo.

I have been to Ergo about a year ago

I have been to Ergo about a year ago. I had a knee replacement and found them through NYU's listing. When you walk in you get a very comfortable feeling. They have a beautiful waiting area. The front desk staff was always smiling and very helpful & welcoming. My therapist was very professional as well as personable. They really know what they're doing. Thanks to Ergo I'm in better shape. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Ergo physical Therapy is the place to go

Ergo physical Therapy is the place to go when it comes to speedy recovery. I had to admit that Ron, Luis and their team are the best there is. I been nursing a bad knee most of my life and it was not until I was told by Ergo that my knee made tremendous and significant improvement. Their therapy sessions had been of great help, very objective and most important they had shown amazing result. I first came to Ron Kassab for physical therapy

I first came to Ron Kassab for physical therapy due to the injuries I received on September 11, 2001 while escaping from the World Trade Center terrorist attack. At Ergo I was provided with a personalized physical therapy regimen and treated as an individual not just a shoulder, knee or hip. The care I received enabled me to continue to work as I healed. My treatment was adjusted and modified as I improved and I was provided with home exercises to do between sessions. Ron and his staff are most professional and therapy is conducted in a warm, relaxing environment with attentive follow up to ensure exercises are performed correctly and equipment settings are appropriate. I have Ron Kassab to thank for my pre-surgical preparation and my post surgical rehabilitation. Everything is carefully explained and Ron will work with your physician/surgeon as needed. Even insurance issues are promptly addressed.

When critiquing Ron Kassab and his team at Ergo the acronym "PT" takes on the adjectives of both "Professional" and "Patient" Therapists. My lower back pain was treated with a balanced therapeutic regimen of massage techniques, stimulation and exercise programs. I was advised and well trained to continue exercising independent of my visits. The facilities are top notch and the staff is extremely caring and attentive. Having a busy schedule, I was comforted never having to wait for treatment. I have referred many friends, who if given the opportunity, would also recommend Ergo to you

I had a nasty fall and fractured my shoulder

In September, of 2005 I had a nasty fall and fractured my shoulder in four places. After surgery (which required the insertion of a plate to "hold the pieces together") it was recommended that I follow up with physical therapy. As I was researching different facilities, Ron Kassab’s name kept coming up. I called Ergo Physical Therapy, and as soon as I hung up the telephone, I knew this was the place for me. The receptionist on the other end of the phone (Biviana) was kind, sympathetic and knowledgeable. We set an appointment for my consultation visit with Ron Kassab, PT within a day or two - and I was certainly not disappointed. Ron immediately put me at ease. He is a kind, gentle, competent and caring therapist – who actually listens to his patients. Everyone associated with Ergo, PT from the receptionist who answered my first call to the PT assistants are extremely helpful. Patients are almost never kept waiting and the facility is kept immaculate. I continued in PT, three times a week for approximately 1 year. I am no longer a patient, but am continuing at Ergo PT as a gym member. Ron continues to be there for me – to give me support and guidance. I highly recommend this facility and all the personnel connected with it.
